There’s a kind of knowing that comes through leaves – not rushed, not loud, but steady.
This herbal infusion with Ground Elder leaves or roots is a quiet ritual for those seeking lightness, clarity, and connection to earth’s simpler rhythms.
Ingredients
– 1–2 teaspoons of dried Ground Elder leaves or roots
– Hot water
The Making
For dried leaves: pour hot water (around 80–90 °C) over the herbs and steep for 5–10 minutes.
For dried roots: simmer gently in boiling water (95–100 °C) for 10–15 minutes to extract deeper plant constituents.
For a blend (leaves + roots): simmer the roots first for 10 minutes, remove from heat, then add leaves and steep for another 5–10 minutes.
Strain and sip slowly. Traditionally enjoyed up to 3 cups per day, especially in seasons of inner cleansing and grounding.
A tea not just for the body, but for the spaces between thoughts.
Let the plants steep where silence begins.
