Plant meets oil, and the body remembers ease
Some healing begins not with words, but with touch.
This herbal-infused oil, made with Ground Elder (Aegopodium podagraria) and a nourishing base like olive or coconut oil, carries the warmth of the sun and the stillness of green places – a slow remedy for tired muscles and weathered joints.
Ingredients
– Freshly ground or gently dried Ground Elder leaves
– A carrier oil (e.g., olive oil or coconut oil)
– A clean glass jar
The Making
Fill a jar with the crushed leaves. Pour oil over them until fully covered. Seal and let infuse in a warm, dark place for 2–4 weeks, shaking gently every few days. Strain and store in a dark glass bottle.
Use
Massage into areas of tension or tired joints – as a ritual of reconnection, of hands meeting earth-born care.
Let the plants move through you in warmth, not words.
Let oil carry what cannot be spoken.
